Some of you may be aware that I am now on crutches after an accident in the school building early Saturday evening, July 23rd. Following the 4:30 PM Vigil Mass, I was showing a parishioner around the 3rd floor of the school, checking out what furniture might be borrowed by another organization, and when walking down the stairs to the 2nd floor my foot somehow got caught or did not properly clear the second step before the 2nd-floor
landing. I went down and according to what the C-Scan indicates and what the doctor believes, I have ruptured a tendon in my right knee.
For now, I am still offering Mass and carrying out all my priestly duties, but my mobility has been a bit restricted. Because of the need for me to use crutches and keep all pressure off my right leg, We are temporarily halting the Tuesday afternoon Adoration/Benediction from 1 PM to 2 PM. because I am unable to kneel, genuflect, or hold the monstrance while on crutches.
I will keep you informed and ask for your prayers and patience. Be assured, this is a mere temporary inconvenience.
